Followed by a tour of the wonderful new Waiōrea Community Recycling Centre with Christine Wang Centre Project Lead.

Waiōrea Community Recycling Centre is a re-use and re-purpose facility. The latest in a network of hubs for collaboration, education, and positive change.
Waiōrea is located just a few minutes from Auckland Zoo with bus stops from Auckland Routes: 010, 18, 110, 129, 132, 133, 134, 195, 650. Cycle parking is available just outside the event space, which links up with Northwestern cycle way.
We love to promote car-sharing and biking but know that timing (and life) doesn’t make this possible for us all the time. Parking is available just down the street for Western Springs.
